Managing medicines

When working days are filled with familiar, recurring tasks, it's easy for the 'autopilot' to kick in. In some contexts, this is fine, we can lean on our experience. But from time to time, we all need to be reminded of when and where we need to sharpen our attention.

MediBox has increased our respect for medicines, and how we manage them. And that's a good thing, because it's such an important thing we're working with. From a medical point of view, of course, but also because it's somebody else's property that we're looking after.

Initially, there was some concern at Segevångsgården that the MediBox digital system and traceability would be perceived as 'surveillance' by staff, but instead it has further increased respect for medication management. And, by extension, MediBox has brought increased security and therefore greater peace of mind. For both staff and residents.
