At Segevångsgården, all medicines were kept in a locked cabinet. The daily medication, the medication when needed, the drugs - everything was together with a signature list. And this is how it looks in most homes.
But even if there are fixed routines and the staff are used to it and skilled, mistakes happen. Medicines end up on the wrong shelf, something gets in the way and the signing list is forgotten, in the worst case, medicines may even disappear...
